- Great for people who have manual dexterity concerns (including kids)
- They make it easier to clean hard to reach areas, such as wisdom teeth
- Some even have features that let you know if you are brushing too hard and if you are brushing for long enough
Throughout history, many different types of toothbrushes have been used, ranging from a tree branch to the latest electric toothbrushes with all the bells and whistles!
With correct brushing technique, you can achieve optimal results with both manual and electric toothbrushes. If someone is doing really well with a manual brush and not having any problems with plaque or brushing too hard, there is little to gain from switching to an electric toothbrush.
